The City of Chicago has issued a self-certification permit for the construction of a new four-story, four-unit residential building at 220-222 South Oakley Boulevard in Near West Side. The permit, which was applied for on April 4 and issued on June 27, includes a private rooftop amenity deck, a new three-vehicle attached garage, and one open parking space.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $1,200,000, with permit fees totaling $9,899.08. This includes a building fee of $6,064.08, a zoning fee of $75, and other fees amounting to $3,760. All fees have been paid in full.
The owner of the property is 222 S Oakley LLC, located in Chicago, IL. They have employed architect Laura Novick for the property’s planned designs.
When complete, 220-222 South Oakley Boulevard will be located a short walk from the Western CTA Station, which services the Blue Line.
