A new construction permit has been issued for a proposed three-story, three-unit residence at 1087 North Marshfield Avenue in East Village. The permit includes plans for a basement, roof deck/enclosure, front balconies, rear first-floor terrace, three-story deck/stairs, and a three-vehicle garage with a roof deck.
The project is being led by owner Volo Holdings LLC-1087 Marshfield Series, and was designed by local architect John Hanna. It has an estimated cost of $1,283,670.00. The permit process took eight days from the application start date of April 25 to the issue date.
The total fee for the permit is $5,339.92, which includes building fees, zoning fees, and other fees. A portion of the fees ($1,800.00) has been paid, while the remaining $3,539.92 is currently unpaid.
When complete, 1087 North Marshfield Avenue will be located steps from bus service for Routes 9, X9, and 70, as well as the Division CTA Station, which services the Blue Line.
