Renovation Underway At 3625 West Shakespeare Avenue In Logan Square

A renovation has been approved at 3625 West Shakespeare Avenue in Logan Square. The project, which will result in the conversion of the existing two-unit property into a three-unit property, is being led by MGKD Properties LLC.

Plans were designed by local architect Ian McDonnell, who is responsible for their adherence to the standards set by the 2019 Chicago Building Code. Construction work is expected to total approximately $65,000 and will include comprehensive interior alterations in the process of adding the property’s third unit, although detailed designs have not been released at this time.

3625 West Shakespeare Avenue is located a short walk from stops for the 74 and 82 bus lines. Beyond that, the Healy Metra Station, which services the MD North Line Train, is a 17 minute walk to the northwest of the property.
