The City of Chicago has issued a permit for the renovation and alteration of a two-story residential building located at 4320 South Honore Street in Back of the Yards. The permit, which was applied for on January 31, and issued on April 19, allows for interior alterations, replacement of the roof, and work on the rear enclosed porch of the existing two-story building.
The building contains two dwelling units and will not undergo any changes to its occupancy or construction type during the renovation. The total cost of the project is planned to be $210,000.
The property owner is listed as Lorenzo Payan, and the architect for the project is listed as Matyja Pawel. Permit fees totaled $1,393.94, which includes $1,318.94 for building fees and $75.00 for zoning fees.
4320 South Honore Street is located a short walk from bus service for Routes 9 and X9. Beyond that, the Western CTA Station, which services the Orange Line, is a 28-minute walk to the south-west of the property.
