A new residential project is taking shape at 1326 East Hyde Park Boulevard In Hyde Park. Spearheaded by owner Zev Salomon and his team at ZSD Construction LLC, the ambitious $3 million development plans to consist of eight three-story townhouses, organized as four adjacent two-dwelling unit buildings.
Each townhouse is designed to maximize comfort and luxury, and will feature private rooftops for future residents. Architect Mark Peters of Chicago has taken the lead in designing the development. DS Construction Inc and Polish Mason Construction Co have been tasked with handling the masonry work.
When complete, the townhouses located at 1326 E Hyde Park will be steps from stops for the 2, 15, and 172 bus lines. Beyond that, the 51st/53rd Street/Hyde Park Metra Station, which services the Electric District Train, will be a short walk to the east of the property.

Are there apartment buildings there now ? Is the location a vacant lot now ? Garages for each new apartment ?
It looks like it’s a no alley street. So maybe it’s 4 units facing north on Madison Park Blvd and 4 facing south on Hyde Park Blvd? Honestly seems like a tight fit either way, with little room for parking. I’d be curious to hear more about this one!
I have a feeling it’ll look more like 641 Maple in Oak Park – basically, two rows with an alley down the middle.
Seems to be an ambitious project.Close quarters!
Price tag?? Ridiculous!!! Another way of saying if you can’t afford to live in hyde Park get out!!!
Each town home has it’s own individual garage with a driveway off Hyde Park Blvd. It is currently an empty lot. 4 homes will face Madison Park. 3 homes will face Hyde Park. 4 are currently 4 homes are currently sold, 2 on each side.
