A interior renovation project is officially underway at 8035 South Dobson Avenue in Chatham, aimed at revitalizing an existing three-and-a-half-story masonry building that houses three dwelling units. The project, which has a budget of $250,000, plans to bring modern updates and essential repairs to the residential property at the address.
The project, approved on January 31, involves comprehensive interior alterations, including the replacement of windows and updates to the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as per the plans laid out by architect Salvatore Martorina.
The renovation project is led by owner Ramon Tovar. Tovar Construction Inc, serving as the general contractor, is overseeing the renovation’s execution, promising high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
8035 S Dobson Avenue is located a short walk from stops for bus service for Routes 4 and 79. Beyond that, it is also a short walk from the 79th Street/Chatham Metra station, which is closed until February 10, but normally services the Electric District Train.
