A permit has been issued for a new three-story building ar 5159 S Wabash Avenue in Washington Park. GT Alternatives LLC is leading this residential project, which will come with six total units. The scope includes private balconies, a trash enclosure, a five-foot fence, a basement level, and six parking spaces.
Peter Sterniuk is listed as the architect of record. Currently, blueprints and renderings have not been made available.
Regarding transportation, bus service includes Routes 15 and 29 each within a five-minute walk. For rail service, the Green Line’s 51st station is a four-minute walk northeast.
GT Alternatives LLC is also serving as general contractor, with a reported construction cost of $600,000. A completion date has not been announced.
