Construction permits have been issued for a new educational construction project at 2351 W 110th Street in Morgan Park. The project will involve the construction of a one-story annex for a Chicago Public School (CPS), featuring six classrooms, restrooms, and offices.
The architect responsible for the design of the new annex is Wallin Gomez Architects. While specific design details have not been disclosed, the new construction is expected to adhere to the latest building standards, ensuring a modern and safe educational environment for students and faculty.
The school is connected to several transit options, including bus Route 349 within a one-minute walk west to Western Ave & 110th St. Meanwhile, the 111th St. – Morgan Park Metra station is a 12-minute walk southeast.
The general contractor for this $5,000,000 project is K.R. Miller Contractors, Inc. An official completion date has not been announced.
