Permits were issued on Tuesday for the removal of a two-story residential building and a detached frame garage located at 1636 West Carmen Avenue in Uptown. Permits were issued to MK Construction & Builders.
Transportation will be readily available with the nearest bus service for Route 92 at the Foster & Ashland stop via a four-minute walk north. Those seeking Route 22 will find it at the Clark & Winnemac stop via a five-minute walk east. The CTA L Red Line can be accessed at the Argyle station via a 15-minute walk east. There are many retail, dining, and social options located within walking distance along nearby N Clark Street.
All Concrete Chicago will act as the demolition contractor for the site. Further permits have been issued for the development of a two-story single-family home and a detached two-vehicle garage. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed for the new development.
