A rising core and row of V-shaped truss supports can be seen at 360 N Green Street, where developer Sterling Bay has planned for a 24-story mixed-use tower. With a height of 399 feet, the project will be built on a vacant lot located at Fulton Market‘s Green and Kinzie intersection, directly east of the now-underway Guinness Brewery and pub.

The construction will yield 5,400 square feet of retail space and just under 500,000 square feet of Class A office space. The offices will offer high ceilings and large, flexible floor layouts. Tenants will also have access to a fourth fitness center and an indoor/outdoor lounge area. At the foot of the building will be a new urban park with seating, open grass space, and various flora.

Gensler‘s design for the tower incorporates multiple interlocking rectangular volumes, anchored by the aforementioned truss supports. This massing will be wrapped in a modern curtain wall facade made of floor-to-ceiling windows and dark metal accents.

For public transit, the closest options include Divvy Bike stations and Route 8 bus stops along Halsted Street. Commuters can also find nearby service for Routes 56 and 65 within a five-minute walk. For the CTA L, service is available via a four-minute walk north to Grand station for the Blue Line and a seven-minute walk southwest to Morgan station for the Green and Pink Lines.

Power Construction is serving as general contractor for the $288 million build, projected to provide 473 construction jobs. Sterling Bay, meanwhile, is also contributing $4.4 million to the city’s neighborhood opportunity fund. A full completion is expected by 2024.
