A permit was issued on Tuesday for a new three-story residential building, located at 2850 N Racine Avenue in Lake View. The owner is listed as Breda Ryan. The property will house three total apartments, a basement, a private first-floor deck, and front balconies across levels two and three. The property will also have a detached three-vehicle garage with its own roof deck. There is an existing frame house at the project site, however no demolition permits have yet been filed.
Christopher Boehm is listed as the architect of record. Plans indicate that this will be a masonry construction.
The nearest bus access can be found for Route 76, which can be found via a three-minute walk southwest down the street at the Diversey & Racine/Lincoln stop. This property is also a quick eight-minute walk east of the Diversey CTA L station which connects to the Brown and Purple Lines. There are a number of exciting and engaging entertaining and dining options along N Lincoln Avenue.
BR Development Inc. will serve as the general contractor for the $839,840 project. No projection date has been given for the completion of this project.
