A permit was approved on earlier this week for a two-story, three-unit residential building at 6326 S Rhodes Avenue in the Woodlawn neighborhood. The owner is listed as Greenline Development LLC and plans indicate this project will feature a basement level and a detached three-car garage. The future property site is currently undeveloped. This build is similar in scope to a neighboring property owned by the same developer which we reported on earlier this month.
John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, the use of masonry contractors strongly points to a masonry exterior.
Bus service is available for Routes 4 and 63, both routes can be found at the 63rd Street & Rhodes Street stop via a one-minute walk north. Those looking for CTA access will find the Green Line available at the King Drive station via a five-minute walk west. There are a number of grocery and dining options within a five-minute walk of the future property site.
Greenline Homes LLC will act as the general contractor for the $288,200 construction. A complete timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
