A permit was issued yesterday for a new three-story residential building located at 3330 N Damen Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The owner is listed as C&H Holdings LLC. The new construction is slated as a three-dwelling masonry building with a basement and a rear open deck with a connecting porch. Plans also indicate the presence of a detached three-car garage with its own roof deck. We previously reported on this property in October when a demolition permit was issued for the existing structure.
Michael S Cox is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed, though the filing description has indicated a masonry exterior.
The nearest transportation service is Route 50 at the intersection of Damen & Roscoe via a one-minute walk north. The nearest CTA Brown Line access is at Paulina station via a nine-minute walk northeast. There are a number of popular restaurants and retail options along Roscoe Street and the North Lincoln Avenue corridor.
R Cruz Construction Inc is serving as the general contractor on the $850,000 project. An anticipated completion date has not yet been announced.
