Construction permits have been issued for a pair of connected three-story townhomes, located at 4304 N Kedvale Avenue in Old Irving Park. The building’s filing owner, 4300 Kedvale LLC, has planned a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, a side balcony along the second floor, and a two-car garage at the first floor.
Hanna Architects is the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been revealed, though the filing notes two masonry contractors, suggesting a stone or brick facade.
The townhome building is part of a larger plan by the developer to build a total of 12 townhomes on the site of a former church. Eight of the townhomes will be connected in a single building at 4148-62 W Cullom Avenue, which received permits in late July. The third two-unit townhome building, located at 4306 N Kedvale Avenue, also received permits in late July.
Nearest bus transportation can be found for Routes 53 and 78, both of which are located along multiple intersections within a five-minute walk northeast. Nearest CTA L and Metra service are both available at adjacent Irving Park stations via a 10-minute walk south.
Work on the $495,400 project project is being carried out by GB Construction LLC. No completion date has yet been announced for any of the three townhome buildings.
