Construction permits have been issued for eight three-story townhomes located at 4148-62 W Cullom Avenue in Old Irving Park. 4300 Kedvale LLC is the filing owner, whose plans for each home include a two-car garage at the first floor, a rear balcony on the second floor, and a rooftop deck and stair enclosure. The development will replace a former church building located with the address 4320 N Kedvale Avenue.
Hanna Architects is the listed architect of record. While the designs have not yet been posted, the multiple masonry contractors included in the filing may suggest a primarily brick or stone design.
As for transportation options nearby, residents will have bus access to Routes 53 and 78, both of which have stops within a five-minute walk northeast. Those looking for rail access will find adjacent Irving Park stations for both the CTA L and the Metra, located a 10-minute walk south.
As mentioned in the filing description, two other permits are still processing as part of the development. Collectively, the two indicate an additional four townhomes under the addresses 4304 N Kedvale Avenue and 4306 N Kedvale Avenue. While filed, neither permit has yet been issued.
GB Construction LLC is serving as the general contractor for the reportedly $2,023,400 project. An anticipated completion timeline is not currently known.
