Four residential buildings were demolished last winter to make space for the new homes, which will be located just north of the intersection of Paulina and Ainslie Streets, nestled in behind the Thorek Hospital Retirement Community at 4950 North Ashland. Designed by Dale Foster Architects, the new building will have a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. Some units will have balconies facing the courtyard.

There will be bicycle storage in the building, but no garage. Instead, 27 off-street parking spaces will be available, accessed from the right-angled alley that connects Paulina and Ainslie.

Upon completion, residents of 4907 North Paulina will be within a short walk of Routes 9, 22, and 81 CTA buses. The Ravenswood Metra station lies within a three-block walk southwest. Past that, the Damen Brown Line platform is about three-quarters of a mile southwest from the new development, and the Argyle Red Line platform is about the same distance to the east.

Nice looking building that will fit well into the neighborhood. Hope it’s executed nicely with good materials and heavy landscaping.
I have been waiting for this one for a long time and so excited to see its final form!
