A permit has been issued for the renovation of a three-story, six-unit building at 5163 South Wabash Avenue in Washington Park. The project will convert the property into a five-unit building, with the basement apartment being converted into storage space.
Work is estimated to cost $25,000. Fees paid so far total $375, with $1,218.40 in fees still outstanding, for a total permit fee of $1,593.40.
Construction will be carried out by owner 1515 CORP, based in Des Plaines. Plans were certified by architect Andy Kacprzynski.
