A permit for renovation and alteration has been issued for a property at 325 East 117th Street in West Pullman. The permit was issued on August 30, following a 13-day standard plan review process that began on August 17.
The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing front two-story open wood porch, as well as the removal and replacement of the existing rear wood and concrete stairs with a landing in the existing two-story, two-unit main house. Additionally, the existing wood stairs with a landing in the existing one-story coach house will be removed and replaced.
The total fee for the permit is $377, which has been fully paid. The reported cost of the project is $20,000. The owner of the property is Kathryn Russell, who resides in Chicago. The architect for the project is Pawel Gibas.
