A permit revision has been issued for the Residences of St. Boniface, a development located at 1340 West Chestnut Street in Noble Square. This revision marks a notable update for the second phase of the St. Boniface Church’s transformation into apartments.
The permit outlines plans to consolidate 6 of the building’s dwelling units into 3, resulting in a new total of 17 residences. The reconfiguration, which has an estimated cost of $80,000, was approved through the Standard Plan Review process.
Development for the broader project is being spearheaded by ZSD Chestnut LLC, with Mark Sullivan listed as the project’s architect. The development team paid a total permit fee of $22,777.52, which includes $22,702.52 for building fees and $75 for zoning fees.
Future residents of the Residences of St. Boniface will be a short walk away from CTA Stations servicing the Blue Line.
