A two-story masonry brick building located at 710 W 61st Street in Englewood is set for a significant makeover, with interior renovations and the addition of a new rear open wood-frame porch recently approved by the City of Chicago. The property, which is owned by Milan Urosevic, is valued at $150,000 and aims to modernize the property’s existing two dwelling units.
Volodymyr Ilchyshyn, the architect responsible for the design, will ensure that the renovations adhere to the structural and aesthetic standards outlined in the plans. Best Home Design & Construction Inc will oversee the general construction process.
710 West 61st Street is located steps from stops for the 8 bus line. Beyond that, the Halsted CTA Station, which services the Green Line, is a short walk to the south of the property.

Hopefully they do something better than that siding on the front.

Wonderful news! A host of green development scheduled near the property. Also, their near was Chicago’s first green home on West 61st Place. Englewood Nature Trail along West 58th Street is on track to complete it’s Gateway Plaza in Late June. Go www growgreater.org Also, would love offer the residents a parkway tree via Chicago Region Tree Initiatives.
