Renovation permits have been issued for a new project at 1330 South Komenksy Avenue in North Lawndale, with the issuing of permits on March 21. The project, which has a budget of $80,000, will entail comprehensive updates to the second, third, and fourth floors of the existing four-story, three-unit building at the address. It is being spearheaded by LaShaun Lashley, the property’s owner.
Renovation work will include the removal and reconstruction of the property’s rear open stairs, along with other interior changes to the structure. Architect Mark Pellettieri is overseeing the project’s designs. Lashley Construction Group LLC is the general contractor responsible for the execution of construction-related tasks.
1330 South Komenksy Avenue is located a short walk from stops for the 12 and 53 bus lines. Beyond that, it is equidistant from the Pulaski CTA Station which services the Pink Line to the east, and the Pulaski CTA Station which services the Blue Line to the west.
