New Residential Building Approved At 2821 N Orchard Street In Lakeview East

Construction permits have been issued for a new five-story building at 2821 N Orchard Street in Lakeview East. The project, which was approved on February 28, is being led by Lakeview Orchard LLC.

The property has been designed by architect John Hanna. When complete, it plans to boast five dwelling units. It will feature a roof deck with an enclosure, front balconies, and rear decks with stairs extending from the second to the fifth floors. Beyond that, it will feature a five-car garage located in the basement.

ALFA Chicago Inc has been selected as the general contractor. Masonry work will be handled by DS Construction Inc. The total budget is estimated to be $2,601,750.

2821 N Orchard Street is located a short walk from stops for the 8, 22, and 76 bus lines. Beyond that, the Diversey CTA Station, which services the Brown, Purple, and Red Lines, is an eight minute walk to the west of the property.
