A renovation project is underway at 1013 West 19th Street in Pilsen, with the issuing of permits on January 30. The project, which has a budget of $50,000, plans for the interior rehabilitation of the first-floor unit of the existing three-story, three-unit building at the address.

The renovation has been designed by John Hanna, and Keos Realty LLC will serve as the general contractor for the project, handling all construction-related tasks. Masonry work, which will include repairs and enhancements to the building’s exterior, is being handled by Arlington Exteriors Inc.

1013 W 19th Street is located a short walk from bus service for Route 18 bus line. Beyond that, the Halsted Street/University of Illinois-Chicago Metra station, which services the BNSF Railway Train, is an 11-minute walk to the north-east of the property.
