A renovation project has been launched at a three-story apartment building located at 7840 S Kingston Avenue in South Shore, planned to improve living conditions for its residents. Spearheaded by the Thomas Real Estate Group, the $100,000 project aims to renovate 13 dwelling units and common areas within the building.
The renovation plan, designed by architect Salvatore Martorina, includes interior repairs across the building’s dwelling units and communal spaces. In addition to these interior enhancements, the project scope also includes the construction of new wood porches.
The general contracting work for the project is being carried out by Thomas Real Estate Group. Additionally, Deljo Heating & Cooling is responsible for updates to the building’s refrigeration and ventilation systems.
7840 S Kingston Avenue is located steps from bus service for Route 79, and is a 13-minute walk to the west of the 79th Street/Cheltenham Metra station, which services the Electric District Train.
