A permit has been issued for upgrades to an existing three-story, six-dwelling unit building located at 4431 N Racine Avenue in Uptown. The project, which was approved on January 4, has an estimated budget of $60,000. The renovation involves the installation of furnaces and air conditioning units, along with associated interior modifications.
John Hanna is the architect of record for the project. Kaplan Construction LLC, a general contractor from Chicago, is managing the renovation. The property is owned by KPLN Holdings LLC-4331 Racine Series.
4431 N Racine Avenue is located steps from the Wilson CTA station, which services the Purple Line and Red Line. Beyond that, bus stops for Routes 36 and 151 are a seven-minute walk to the east of the property, and Routes 78 and 22 are a nine-minute walk to the west of the property.
