A new construction project has been approved at 1109 West 16th Street in Pilsen. The project, with an estimated budget of $500,000, plans to construct a two-story residential building.
The building, when complete, will feature three residential units and a finished basement. Beyond that, the building will offer a rooftop deck and a rear two-story deck, further extending the outdoor living space for residents. Finally, project plans include a three-space carport on the property.
Eduard Livanu is leading the design and planning for this project. SitePro Services Inc will serve as the general and masonry contractor. Joseph Barbaro is listed as the property owner.
When complete, 1109 W 16th Street will be located steps from bus service for Route 18. Beyond that, the Halsted Street/University of Illinois-Chicago Metra station, which services the BNSF Railway Train, will be a nine-minute walk east of the property.
