Permits have been issued for the construction of a three-story residential building at 2019 West Washington Boulevard in Near West Side. Permits were issued on January 29, and the project’s estimated budget is $850,000.

Owned by Bruce Ross, the new building is planned to offer four dwelling units and a basement. In addition, the project will feature three on-site open parking spaces. The project has been designed by Bryan Hudson. McVan Development has been assigned as the general contractor for the project. Masonry work has been entrusted to Persaud Construction.

2019 W Washington Boulevard, when complete, will be located steps from bus service for Routes 20 and 50. Beyond that, the Ashland CTA station, which services the Green and Pink Lines, is located a 14-minute walk to the northeast of the property.

  1. Also just blocks away from the Damen Green Line stop under construction

  2. It’s great to see development continue west. I hope in time that the Unuited Center parking lots see some redevelopment too. Developing something like Wriglyville would be great for the west side.
