The renovation for the building located at 654 W Grace Street, which houses seven units, focuses on completing the interiors of four units that are currently gutted. In addition, the project plans to complete landscaping work in both the front and backyards and the replacement of decayed exterior concrete steps.
Elizabeth Purdy is leading the architectural work for the project, and W.R. General Contractor Inc has taken on the role of the general contractor for the project. The project’s budget is $765,000.
654 W Grace Street is located steps from bus stops for Routes 36, 80, and 151. Beyond that, the Sheridan CTA station, which services the Red Line, is a 12-minute walk to the northeast of the property.
