A renovation project is underway at 2843 N Mildred Avenue in Lake View East, aimed at adding a third unit to the existing three-story, two-unit building currently at the address. Permits for the project were issued on December 4, following a 185-day review process.
The renovation is being led by 856 W. Wolfram St LLC, with Jonathan Splitt from Chicago overseeing the design of the new unit. Hayes Properties Inc is serving as the general contractor for the project. Permit fees paid summed to $1,938.
2843 N Mildred Avenue is centrally located in Lake View East, and the building is located steps from bus service for Routes 8 and 76. The Diversey CTA station, which services the Brown and Purple Lines, is a short four-minute walk to the southwest of the property.
