A construction permit has been issued for a new residential development located at 1225 S Troy Street in Lawndale. The two-story building will feature two dwelling units and come with a basement. Replacing what was an undeveloped lot, the listed owner for the project is Troy Builders.

Senga Architects is the listed architect of record. The building will be a blend of brick and frame materials, based on the filing description. However, neither drawings nor renderings have been made available.

Parking provisions were not specified in the permit filing. In terms of transit accessibility, bus stops for Routes 12 and 52 are both available within close walking distance. Access to the Kedzie-Homan Blue Line Station is 15-minute walk northwest, while the Pink Line’s Kedzie Station is a 19-minute walk south.

Troy Builders LLC is also the general contractor overseeing the construction. The reported cost of the project stands at $250,000. No estimated completion date has been announced.
