The city has approved a construction permit for a one-story residential building at 2651 W 83rd Place in Wrightwood. The six-bedroom / 2.5-bath project will be an ADA-compliant, community-integrated living arrangement (CLIA) for Envision Unlimited, a service provider for individuals with disabilities.

Mark McHugh is developing the project for Envision Unlimited, while the design is by architect Johnson Lasky Kindelin Architects. The permit description notes a wood frame structure, though no further details or visuals of the plans could be found.

Parking provisions include a detached garage for an accessible van. Bus transit within the vicinity consists of Routes 52A, 79, 87, and 349, along with the Metra’s Wrightwood station.

The general contractor for the project is Henry Bros. Co, while the reported construction cost is $900,000 per the filing. Currently, an anticipated completion timeline has yet to surface.
