A construction permit has been granted for a residential development at 6427 S Rhodes Avenue in the West Woodlawn neighborhood. Owned by Champlain Rhodes, LLC, the project will feature a two-story building with two dwelling units and a basement, set to be constructed on a formerly vacant grass lot.
Hanna Architects’ design for the building includes a detached two-vehicle garage. As of now, neither drawings nor renderings have yet been revealed.
The building includes close access to several public transit options. The King Drive Green Line stop is a six-minute walk northwest, while Routes 3, 4, and 63, are also within several blocks of the property.
Greenline Homes, LLC will serve as the general contractor for the project. The total reported construction cost for the project is $432,300, while the estimated completion date is yet to be revealed.
