The fifth and final segment of West Loop Collection at 216-236 S Green Street is now at roof height. The project by POGN Development consists of 40 total condominiums divided up into eight per building in the West Loop. From three-bedroom apartments to five-bedroom penthouses, these magnificent residences offer something for everyone. Prices range from a modest $1 million for the single-level “simplex” to $2 million for a duplex penthouse.
Every condo offers nine-foot ceilings, including a primary bedroom with a walk-in closet. Within the kitchens will be Copat Italian cabinetry and large kitchen islands for added counter space. There will also be internal light wells for added natural light further into the interiors. Every unit comes complete with a balcony, while the penthouses integrate 750-square-foot east-facing terraces. These outdoor spaces are connected to the interior by a retractable nanawall system.
JEF + Associates are behind the designs for the quintuplet buildings, which are lined limestone and brick cladding, glass-railing balconies, and dark metal trimmings.
West Loop Collection provides a total of 40 off-street parking spaces and is located close to several public transport options. Just one block south on Peoria & Jackson residents can find the eastbound Route 126 bus service while two minutes away walking east on Halsted & Van Buren lies the westbound service for Route 8.
For rail transit, residents can find quick access to the Blue Line at UIC-Halsted station just a five-minute walk south. For Green and Pink Lines, head northwest for 14 minutes and hop on the nearest train at Morgan station.
NGL Construction has served as the general contractor. Completion is set for 2023.
