A demolition permit was issued last week for the removal of a one-story frame residence, located at 1632 W Hollywood Avenue in Edgewater. The owner of the permit is listed as Formed Space LLC. A permit has been submitted, but not approved, for the erection of a new single-family home at the property site.
The nearest bus access can be found for Route 50 at the Ashland & Hollywood stop which is a brief two-minute walk east. Those seeking out Route 22 can walk a few steps further to the Clark & Hollywood stop which is directly across the street. There are many restaurants and retail options nearby in Andersonville along the N Clark Street corridor.
Pro Excavating Inc will be serving as the demolition contractor on this project. An estimated completion date for the removal and for the upcoming build have not yet been announced.
