New construction permits were issued to 723 W Buckingham Place in Lakeview East late last week. The site has RM-4.5 zoning and the permit owner is listed as 723 Buckingham LLC. Plans indicate a four-story masonry build with a total of three units, a rooftop deck, and a detached three-vehicle garage.
The permit lists Michael S Cox as the architect of record. No plans or renderings have been made public at this time.
The site is a three-minute walk from the Halsted & Aldine intersection, where residents can access both north and southbound bus stops for Route 8. Additional bus transit includes Route 22 via five-minute walk southwest at Clark & School/Aldine. Future residents will also find Brown, Purple, and Red Line access for the CTA L via a 10-minute walk southwest.
Ronan Construction LLC will be serving as the contractor for the project which has a reported construction cost of $980,000. A timeline for completion has yet to be revealed.
