A demolition permit was issued last week for the removal of a three-story multi-unit frame residential building with a detached frame garage located at 1845 W Wellington Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as 1845 Wellington LLC.
There are plenty of access points for transportation with Route 50 as the closest bus service option to this property. This route can be found at the intersection of Damen & Wellington via a three-minute walk west. There are many restaurants and green spaces that are easily accessed.
DS Construction Inc will be serving as the demolition contractor on this project. Though permits have not been issued, they have been filed to erect a new two-story single-family home with a basement and a detached two-vehicle garage with its own rooftop deck. An estimated completion date has not yet been announced.
