  1. This property is haunted by the original owners a family that sold my family the building in the early 90s,
We lovingly restored the garden and 1st floor units to their original beauty, installed central heat and air conditioning. The second floor apartment was duplex ed to the attic and an additional bathroom added to the 2 large master suites. My husband John Iversen did all the work with his 2 hands AFTER he left his business nearby. It took less than a year to complete a gourmet kitchen and updated the main bathroom. While constructing the master bedrooms in the attic we (Johns wife and daughter ) looked out the window overlooking the street and saw a woman in a late 1800 dress and grey hair pinned in a bun arms crossed looking up at us on separate occasions with a disapproving look on her face. We later found family photos in a military trunk in the attic with pictures of the woman as the first lady of the home. She seemed to be ok once she saw we were restoring other than TEARING IT DOWN!!! She did visit us from time to time but never in a scary way. Our family lived there until today as my daughter inherited the property after her daddy passed away at an early age and we had been divorced. I was at the property at least 5 times a week after our grandson was born. Another generation and the last. I was a little shocked to learn of the demolition project but not surprised,as the rise in property taxes was taking on the new young family. I am happy that my daughter made a decision and stuck with it. I hope that they find a really nice single family home and have many babies! I reside west of Rogers park in Park Castle connected with Indian Boundary Park just a short ride from the Seeley property. Not too sure I can stomach the large hole in the ground of the double lot property. Look on to the front sidewalk where you will see a pissed off older woman in a long dress arms folded with a pissed off look on her face. Why are YOU tearing down our home. Shame shame.
