The developer, Polk Building LLC, has planned five total units paired with five surface parking spots on a rear concrete parking pad. The building will have a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, a basement, as well as a first-floor terrace and multiple deck areas. Hanna Architects is behind the design, whose facade includes a dark red masonry cladding, intermixed with floor-to-ceiling windows.

  1. Question: when is Mr. Hanna going to retire? Don’t mean to be too harsh, but I’m looking forward to the day!

    • Sadly Hannah is only one of many that need to give it up. Chicago needs an architectural revolution at this point to offset more than a decade of perhaps the most bland design era in history yet prolific in scale.

  2. Same design over and over. Needs to get creative or all the new construction in Little Italy will look the same.

  3. 3 story building “Topping Off?” Isn’t that a bit grand?
