New Permits Issued for 2051 N Racine Avenue in Lincoln Park

Permits were issued on Friday for the construction of a new three-story multi-unit building in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The owner is listed as 2051 N Racine LLC, and the current plans indicate this project will yield a total of three dwelling units. The second- and third-floor units will feature front balconies as well as private decks at the rear. The build with also have a roof deck and pergolas; and a detached three-vehicle garage with its own rooftop deck. The development will replace an existing structure.

Christopher Boehm is listed as the architect of record on the project. At the time of this writing, no drawings or renderings have been disclosed, however, plans indicate that this build will lean heavily on masonry contractors.

The closest bus service available is Route 73 and can be found at Armitage & Seminary via a five-minute walk southeast. The CTA Brown and Purple Lines can be accessed at the Armitage station via an eight-minute walk southeast. There is an abundance of retail and dining options along both W Armitage and N Clybourn Avenues.

BR Development Inc will act as the general contractor for the $930,750 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
