A demolition permit was approved earlier this week to remove a two-story, multi-unit residential building, located at 2427 North Talman Avenue in the Logan Square neighborhood. The permit’s owner has been listed as Richard Pinto.
The closest bus services available are Route 74. This service can be found at the intersection of Fullerton & Rockwell via a three-minute walk east. This lot is situated just minutes away from the intersection of Fullerton and Milwaukee Avenues, which is full of retail, dining, and nightlife options. Those looking to catch the CTA Blue Line may do so at the California station via a nine-minute walk southwest.
Bridges Excavating Inc is serving as the demolition contractor. Permits have been submitted for plans to replace the current structure with a two-story single-family frame residence with a basement and a detached two-car garage. Plans also indicate that both structures will be outfitted with rooftop decks.
