A permit has been issued for the interior remodeling of a basement to create a new Accessory Dwelling Unit in an existing three-story, two-flat residence located at 1814 North Talman Avenue in Logan Square. At this time, the project has been granted a conditional permit subject to field inspections.
The total fee for the permit is $2,088, which includes $688 in subtotal paid fees, breaking down to $300 in building fees, $75 in zoning fees, and $313 in other fees. At this time, the remaining $1,400 balance is unpaid.
Construction, expected to cost around $30,000, is being led by owner Kate Moberg. Plans were designed by architect David Raino Ogden.
