A new construction permit has been issued for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 4231 South Champlain Avenue in Bronzeville. The proposed building will be a frame structure with a rear three-story open wood porch, and a three-car concrete parking pad.
Construction is being led by owner Red Van Construction, Inc. Plans were designed by architect Alexander Polichuk. Construction is estimated to cost $490,000.
Fees for the permit total $4,253.00, with $375.00 paid so far and $3,878.00 remaining unpaid. The fees are broken down into building fees ($2,300), zoning fees ($75), and other fees ($1,878).
