The City of Chicago has issued a permit for a new construction project at 7905 South Exchange Avenue in South Chicago. The permit, which was issued on November 27, was issued through the Direct Developer Services process and currently has fees due.

The project consists of a six-story mixed-occupancy building featuring 43 dwelling units and ground-floor retail space. Construction is being led by owner Thrive Exchange, LLC, and is anticipated to cost around $25,000,000. Plans were designed by architect Jah Koo.

Fees associated with the permit total $45,778.62, with $1,908 already paid and $43,870.62 remaining unpaid. Transit nearby the property includes the 79th Street/Cheltenham Metra Station.
