Building Approved At 1738 West North Avenue In West Town

A new construction permit has been issued for a four story mixed-use masonry building located at 1738 West North Avenue in West Town. The project will include a dental office on the ground and second floors, with two dwelling units on the third and fourth floors. A privacy fence and one parking space will be located at the rear of the property.

The permit application process began on April 23 and the permit was issued on November 22, after a total processing time of 213 days. Various fees have been paid, including $300 for building fees and $1,500 for zoning fees. However, additional fees remain unpaid, totaling $6,465.77. The total fee for the project is $8,265.77.

Plans were self-certified by architect Michael Cox. The reported cost of the project is $950,000.
