The City of Chicago has issued a self-certification permit for the construction of a new two-story, three-dwelling unit building with a basement at 1052 North Central Park Avenue in Humboldt Park. The permit, which was applied for on June 20 and issued on July 3, includes a rear porch with stairs at the first and second stories and three exterior parking spaces on a concrete pad.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $656,271, with permit fees totaling $5,678. This includes a building fee of $2,300, a zoning fee of $1,500, and other fees amounting to $1,878. The applicant paid an initial fee of $1,800, with the remaining $3,878 still unpaid.
The owner of the property is Yanga Development LLC. John Hanna is listed as the architect of record. When complete, 1052 North Central Park Avenue will be located a short walk from stops for the 65 and 70 bus lines.

I wish they had built the full width of the lot (it looks like they’re only using half of the double lot), but I still appreciate the investment.
There are pending permits for two more 2-story, 3-unit buildings at 1056 and 1058 N Central Park.
