Permits have been issued for a new residential project at 1853 North Maud Avenue in Ranch Triangle. The project, which was approved on April 5, is being spearheaded by 1853 N Maud LLC and has an estimated budget of $750,000. It will stand three stories tall and plans to boast two dwelling units.
Project plans were assembled by local architect Victor Drapszo. The property will offer future residents a two-car frame garage, topped with a roof deck, along with a rooftop deck at the top of the main structure. United Chicago Builders LLC is the project’s general contractor, and will spearhead construction efforts. Masonry will be led by DS Construction Inc.
When complete, the Armitage CTA Station, which services the Pruple and Brown Lines, will be located a short walk to the north of the property. Beyond that, stops for the 73 bus line will be a short walk to the north of the property, and stops for the 9 and 72 bus lines will be a short walk to the south of the property.
