The City of Chicago has issued construction permits for 6328 South Rhodes Avenue, a new project in West Woodlawn that is being undertaken by owner Champlain Rhodes 2 LLC. The project plans to construct a two-story building that will boast two dwelling units when complete. It has an estimated cost of $432,300, and was approved on April 2.
John Hanna, a self-certified architect from Chicago, is architect of record for the construction permits. While detailed plans for the property have not been released at this time, it plans to feature a detached two-vehicle garage for residents. Construction work is being handled by Greenline Homes LLC.
6328 South Rhodes Avenue is located steps from bus service four Routes 4 and 63. Beyond that, the King Drive CTA Station, which services the Green Line, is a short walk to the north-west of the property.
