A construction permit has been issued for a new development located at 4646 W Fifth Avenue in Lawndale. The project is set to feature a one-story core and shell building intended for use as a laundry facility.
Under development by The Will Group and designed by d+k Architects & Interiors, this new construction is set to replace a vacant lot and will serve as the second phase of K-Town Business Centre. This broader plan is expected to encompass a total of 120,000 square feet of new space geared toward industrial purposes.
The nearest bus transit includes Route 316 and 392 stops just to the west along Cicero Avenue, while the Blue Line’s Cicero Station is a nine-minute walk northwest.
Catalyst GC and Development has been identified as the general contractor for the development. The project’s total construction cost is estimated at $7.5 million. A specific completion date for the project has not yet been announced.
