A construction permit has been issued for a new residential development at 6319 S Champlain Avenue in Woodlawn. The project will feature a two-story building with two dwelling units, replacing what is now a vacant grass parcel. The owner of the project is Champlain Rhodes, LLC.
The architectural design is by John C. Hanna of Hanna Architects. The plan includes a basement and a detached two-car garage. As of now, blueprints, renderings, and details about the exterior materials have not been disclosed.
The new development is near several bus routes, including Route 63 within a two-minute walk, as well as Route 4 and X4 slightly further to the east. For rail service, the Green Line’s Cottage Grove station is within a five-minute walk.
Greenline Homes, LLC, is the general contractor with the construction expected to cost $432,300. As of now, an estimated completion date has not been announced.
