A construction permit has been issued for a new residential development located at 6322 S Rhodes Avenue in West Woodlawn. The project, owned by Champlain Rhodes, LLC, is set to feature a two-story, two dwelling unit residential structure with a basement. This new construction will replace what was previously a vacant site.
John C. Hanna of Hanna Architects is leading the design for the development. The project will feature an additional detached two-vehicle garage included in the submitted plans.
In terms of transit accessibility, the location’s nearest CTA Green Line stop is at King Drive Station via a five-minute walk west. Bus service in the near vicinity consists of Routes 3, 4, and 5.
Greenline Homes, LLC has been appointed as the general contractor for the $432,300 venture. At this time, no estimated completion date has been announced for the development.
